Early Adoption: Against HR's Nature ?

HR is not known for being innovative. HR is known for its compliance orientation and focus on risk mitigation. But the push of shiny new technologies and their potential to increase engagement and productivity and the pull of employee expectations puts HR squarely in the innovation zone today. Gen X and Gen Y cohorts- are clamoring for their employers to become early adopters of technologies such as social media to excel in their job functions.
