Achievers announces Patrick D. Quirk as new President and Chief Executive Officer
San Francisco and Toronto – Achievers, the leader in employee recognition and rewards software, announced today the appointment of Patrick D. Quirk as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 19, 2013. Quirk brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise software management, research and development, marketing and sales in his newly appointed role.

Prior to Achievers, Quirk was the President and CEO of Emptoris, Inc., which he successfully managed the acquisition of by IBM in 2012. He also served as the Senior Vice President for worldwide sales at GoldenGate Software, acquired by Oracle in 2009, and General Manager of PeopleSoft’s Enterprise Supply Chain Management division. At PeopleSoft, Quirk led the acquisition of JD Edwards for $1.7 billion, the largest software acquisition in ERP history.
