A recent employee engagement survey by Achievers asked 1,224 employees from the U.S., Canada, UK, and Australia if they plan on looking for new jobs in 2019. The results were jarring: only 21% of North American employees are very engaged, yet most are not looking to leave their jobs. While this may seem like a positive trend, it actually indicates a major workplace complacency conundrum – one that could have a significantly negative effect on your bottom line.
