Workplace Culture Expert Poised to Help Achievers Clients Drive Business Performance through Employee Engagement
SAN FRANCISCO and TORONTO — September 7, 2017 — Achievers, an industry leading provider of employee recognition and engagement solutions, today announced the appointment of Dr. Natalie Baumgartner to the newly created role of chief workforce scientist. Dr. Baumgartner joined Achievers from RoundPegg, a culture and employee engagement technology company she co-founded; select assets of which were acquired by Achievers.
A well-regarded speaker and thought leader on engagement, culture and organizational transformation, Dr. Baumgartner is an expert in understanding how employee engagement and values alignment can drive strategic business outcomes. She has spent her career advising senior leaders from companies of all sizes—from entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 firms—on research and data-driven engagement measurement and management. A TEDxMileHigh Talk she gave exemplifies her passion for helping both leaders and employees understand the crucial role that culture fit has in driving engagement in the workplace.

A mentor at Techstars, Dr. Baumgartner is also a regional co-founder of Culture Lab X, a director on the board of Elevations Credit Union and a board member of the Consulting Psychology division of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Baumgartner holds her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and University of Denver. She is based in Boulder, Colorado.
